Job Summary
Prepare and issue AML Services proposals, including fee quotes for prospective clients. Coordinate the preparation, execution, and maintenance of AML Services Agreements and related engagement documentation. Ensure AML Services matters are accurately set up, maintained, and updated within Viewpoint and other internal systems. Manage REEFS submissions and updates relating to AMLCO, MLRO, and DMLRO appointments through CIMA's portal. Assist with the preparation and distribution of periodic AML Compliance Officer reports to fund governing bodies. Coordinate and assist with the completion of periodic Fund Administrator reviews, including sample testing of investor CDD/KYC documentation. Monitor outstanding action items arising from AML reviews, testing exercises, and Governing Body meetings, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution with fund administrators and other service providers. Manage the billing process for AML Services engagements, including invoicing, monitoring receivables, implementing proactive collection processes, and follow-up on outstanding balances. Work closely with the internal finance team and other stakeholders to review and resolve billing issues. Assist with the maintenance of procedures relating to the identification, escalation, and reporting of suspicious activity. Assist with the development and maintenance of AML Services procedures, templates, and operational documentation. Arrange and administer client AML training through the Ogier Global's AML Training portal. Stay abreast of developments in Cayman Islands AML/CFT/CFP legislation, regulations, and guidance, and assist with implementing related procedural and operational enhancements. Participate in departmental initiatives, process improvement projects, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a compliance, risk or operational function, within the legal, corporate services, financial services or investment funds industry
- Experience administering Cayman Islands investment funds
- Sound knowledge of the Cayman Islands AML/CFT/CFP framework, including applicable legislation, regulations and Guidance Notes, together with an understanding of regulatory requirements affecting investment funds and financial services businesses
- Proficiency in Viewpoint, as well as and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, fund administrators, directors and internal stakeholders
- Strong client service focus, with the ability to understand client needs, identify practical solutions and deliver a high standard of service
- Excellent organisational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and proactively identify and resolve issues
Desired Qualifications
- A recognized compliance or AML certification (eg. ICA or ACAMS)
- Experience supporting AML compliance, governance, regulatory reporting or related control functions
