Job Summary
Plan, execute, and monitor audit engagements across various industries and sectors. Prepare work papers to record and summarize audit procedures, perform analytical procedures on significant accounts by setting expectations and investigating variances, and conduct tests of details for financial statement components. Assist in drafting financial statements and footnotes while serving as a participant or team lead in communications with engagement teams and clients. Develop a strong understanding of accounting and auditing literature sources. This role offers exposure to US GAAP and GAAS, supporting US CPA firms with global financial reporting audits.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards
- Knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP and International auditing standards
- Working experience with Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm focused on external or statutory audits
- Detailed knowledge and hands on experience of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to quickly form strong working relationship with colleagues in India and global teams
- Ability to spread positive work culture, teaming and live alliant values
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards or knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP and International auditing standards is an added advantage
