Job Summary
Senior ALC Developer responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of Assembly Language Code (ALC) solutions. Support IRS legacy applications, Filing Season activities, legislative updates, and production support. Troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and support integration efforts. Participate in FIT testing, deployment support, and post-implementation activities. Develop technical documentation and mentor junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of ALC development experience
- Strong IBM mainframe experience including JCL and related tools
- Experience supporting high availability production environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Citizenship: US
- Active IRS MBI clearance or ability to obtain/maintain clearance
