Job Summary
Senior Airport Planner/Architect/Engineer responsible for developing airport simulation models (terminal and airside), reviewing and overseeing airport planning and redevelopment projects, preparing capacity analyses for terminal/airside/support facilities, developing planning concepts with CAD/GIS, and delivering technical reports and presentations to stakeholders. Will coordinate with the FAA and other regulatory submissions, develop site development plans, provide planning support on land use compatibility, zoning, and codes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance airport redevelopment initiatives. Travel to Port Authority airports as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field
- Experience in aviation facility planning and design
- Experience preparing and delivering site plans, terminal or airport infrastructure functional layouts, conceptual drawings, and presentation materials
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and related computer-aided design software
