Job Summary
Design, build, and deploy end-to-end machine learning and LLM-based systems, translating business problems into scalable AI/ML solutions for healthcare outcomes. Develop data pipelines, models, and APIs while performing technical design reviews and mentoring junior team members. Coordinate on-call support to ensure monitoring of system performance and reliability. Maintain active relationships with product, data, and engineering teams to influence standards and drive adoption across enterprise applications.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Experience working with multi-dimensional platforms
- Experience working with business and technical applications
- In-office 1-2 days per week
- Ability to report to our Pulse Point location in Atlanta, GA
- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance from an office
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or PhD
- Advanced Python skills for machine learning and data processing
- Experience across the full ML lifecycle (development, deployment and monitoring)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, or modern NLP techniques using vector search technologies like OpenSearch
- Experience building production AI systems (APIs, pipelines, microservices)
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks for ML/LLM systems
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles (fairness, explainability, privacy)
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms and scalable architectures (AWS Bedrock, or equivalent AI model cloud providers)
- Healthcare domain experience, including familiarity with data privacy and regulatory requirements
- Multi database and/or multi language
- Experience mentoring others, leading multiple small projects and providing troubleshooting support
