Job Summary
Senior AI Security Engineer on the Manchester engineering team responsible for security insight: understanding how SaaS and AI platforms are built and abused, translating telemetry into detection and posture logic, advising on security controls, prototyping detection approaches in SQL and Python, and maintaining attacker-perspective coverage while debugging security issues in customer environments.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in cybersecurity with focus on SaaS platforms, cloud security, identity systems, or application security
- strong SQL and Python skills; ability to query large datasets and prototype detection logic end-to-end
- experience with major SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Okta) and understanding of their API structures and permission models
- ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to an engineering audience
- track record of original thinking in security (research, red teaming, bug bounty, or product security)
