Senior AI/ML Engineer (Partial Telework)

Senior AI/ML Engineer on a subcontract for a U.S. Government customer. Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph; U.S. Citizenship; 5+ years of experience and a Master’s or Ph.D. in math, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, or deep learning (or equivalent experience substitution); experience with ML libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow; ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills. Responsibilities include selecting/creating data, performing statistical analysis, running ML algorithms, improving models, providing system integration oversight, and evaluating AI/ML algorithms through iterative design to meet verification and validation requirements. Proficiency across a broad range of AI/ML techniques and tools, data representation methods, and capacity to translate data science prototypes into scalable solutions. Location: Annapolis Junction, MD with partial telework (16 hours/week); Salary range: $170,000–$260,000; Benefits include health coverage, PTO, 401K, and professional development.
