Job Summary
Design workflows, interfaces, and LLM orchestrations while building scalable, secure, and user-facing software applications powered by AI models. Gather and document business system requirements, influence system design, and coordinate implementation of testing, operational readiness, and transition to production support. Make decisions on moderately complex technical approaches regarding project components and design resilient microservices, API layers, and backend pipelines to handle non-deterministic AI outputs. Influence business partners and work with offshore vendors to implement the best solutions for enterprise objectives, ensuring data privacy and Responsible AI compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
- 3-5+ years leading enterprise AI/GenAI initiatives, including design, implementation, and production support of AI powered applications
- Experience designing and deploying Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration frameworks
- Responsible AI Healthcare compliance
- Business value realization
- AI product delivery leadership
- Azure OpenAI and Microsoft AI ecosystem experience
- Experience implementing AI solutions on Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Responsible AI practices including model governance, fairness, explainability, privacy controls, human-in-the-loop review processes, and regulatory compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of business partners, architects, engineers, product owners, security teams, and vendors to deliver enterprise AI capabilities
- Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required
- Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required
