Senior AI Engineer

Senior AI Engineer with a focus on AI system development and data workflows, working within PA Consulting’s Digital & Data team on a range of client projects. You’ll collaborate across product, design, and other experts to prototype and deploy AI-driven solutions, explore Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, APIs from OpenAI/Anthropic), and develop retrieval-augmented generation prototypes with vector stores and knowledge graphs. Responsibilities include problem-solving in agile teams, participating in live in-person whiteboarding sessions, contributing to internal projects, and applying cloud-native practices (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps/DevSecOps principles. The role involves experimentation, model integration, prompt/context engineering, and evaluating GenAI workflows, with exposure to distributed systems and microservices, as well as a hybrid work arrangement (minimum two days in office per week) and potential client-site work. UK security clearance residency requirements apply for certain roles.
