Job Summary
Craft new features for the SD-WAN application by writing functional and design specifications, programming, and conducting unit and integration testing. Collaborate with product managers and designers to drive development from technology selection to product delivery, while participating in design and code reviews to guide technical architecture. Identify and improve the efficiency, scalability, and operability of the distributed, AI-driven platform, ensuring zero-touch connectivity and high throughput message services. Work on project teams focused on WAN Assurance and intelligent path routing, providing clean, modular code and assisting the documentation team with configuration aspects.
Required Qualifications
- B.S or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4 + years of experience developing large-scale software systems
- Solid C++, Python and/or Go developer and debugging skills
- Ability to deliver clean, modular code quickly and efficiently
- Experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Attention to detail and ability to solve complex customer problems
- Own solutions end-to-end and driving the design, development, and deployment process
- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- High degree of competency working with multi-threaded development
- Experience developing on Linux operating systems
- Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal, to effectively understand and convey issues and solutions to peers and end users
- Familiarity with Robot framework
- Experience with Agile development process
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration
- Primarily work from an HPE office
