Senior AI Engineer, Data Analytics

Job Summary
Design, build, and ship AI agent applications and harnesses that answer business questions accurately over governed data. Develop core agent capabilities including retrieval-augmented generation, natural-language-to-query, and tool calling. Improve output quality through prompt engineering, evaluation benchmarks, guardrails, and ongoing measurement. Partner on data models, metrics, and pipelines to ensure agents reason over consistent, secure business data while applying strict financial-services security standards. Contribute engineering judgment to technical design and reviews to raise the team's technical bar. This role is based in Singapore and requires 5+ years of experience building production AI and data software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience building production software, including AI applications, data pipelines, and data models
- Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI applications in production
- Experience improving AI system accuracy and reliability through evaluation, guardrails, or quality measurement
- Strong Python, SQL, software engineering, and data modeling fundamentals
- Track record of shipping reliable AI or data products and turning ambiguous business or product needs into clear technical solutions
- This role is based in Singapore
Desired Qualifications
- Experience defining and maintaining semantic layers or metrics layers
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data security
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms and transformation frameworks such as Databricks, Spark, and dbt
- Experience building batch or streaming data pipelines using Kafka, Flink, or change-data-capture tooling
- Experience building secure customer-facing or multi-tenant products, including access control and data isolation
- Experience with low-latency analytics technologies such as ClickHouse
- Experience in fintech, payments, or other financial platforms
