Job Summary
Senior AI Engineer responsible for embedding AI capabilities across the SDLC to boost engineering productivity, delivery quality, and automation within Acquisition & Retention at zooplus. Design and implement AI-driven SDLC accelerators (code generation, review automation, smart testing, documentation support); develop MCP-based extensions and context-aware tools; apply context engineering to improve LLM reasoning; build LLM-integrated CI/CD workflows for PR analysis, test automation, and deployment support; collaborate with engineering, platform, and product teams to scale AI adoption. Hybrid work setup with 60% time in office and 40% at home, based in Madrid with multinational collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Tech-agnostic programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Kotlin
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into engineering or product workflows
- Understanding of RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Experience with intelligent test automation and CI/CD pipelines
