Job Summary
Senior AI Data Scientist / Analytics Engineer to lead enterprise analytics and AI-driven data initiatives. Focus on enterprise-scale analytics, ETL/ELT pipeline development, predictive modeling, and cloud-based data engineering to support BI and AI/ML solutions. Responsibilities include partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define analytics strategy, designing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, building and optimizing database designs and data structures, analyzing structured and unstructured data for BI and AI/ML use cases, improving data quality and governance, and creating technical documentation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8–10 years of relevant experience, strong SQL and database experience, proficiency in Python/R/Shell, cloud-based data platforms, and excellent communication skills. The role is a W2 contract with fully remote work in the US, rate $72–$79/hour, estimated through 6/30/2027, with location-flexible guidance toward PST/EST time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
- 8–10 years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, ETL development, database engineering, or related enterprise data roles
- Advanced experience with SQL, relational databases, and enterprise database technologies
- Strong hands-on experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integration workflows
- Proficiency with Python, R, Shell scripting, or other programming languages used for analytics and automation
- Experience working within cloud-based data platforms and enterprise analytics ecosystems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to independently lead initiatives while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams
