Job Summary
Senior AI Business Analyst in M&A leading AI/data initiatives for an investment team. Role blends AI strategy, translation of business problems to AI/data science requirements, and hands-on prototype/production of AI tools within an embedded team. Responsibilities include architecting data foundations across transaction lifecycle, building tools to price deals and accelerate diligence, defining KPIs and adoption metrics, and communicating outputs to executives. Requires experience in applying AI/ML to business problems, strong data fluency, and the ability to translate business questions into actionable analyses. Location: Toronto, hybrid—3 days/week in office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative, business, or technical field
- 6 to 10 years across analytics, strategy, finance, or product
- at least 3 years in AI, ML or data science
- strong SQL, Python or R for exploration, and Excel; experience with BI tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau
