Senior AI Automation Engineer – Agentic AI (Python)

Job Summary
Senior Automation Engineer role focusing on designing, building, and scaling automation that connects tools, systems, and teams across globalization and language operations. Lead design and implementation of automation frameworks, develop production-grade agents, scripts, and pipelines to replace manual processes across documentation, localization, and content platforms. Integrate systems via REST APIs and MCPs to enable scalable end-to-end workflows, apply AI/LLM capabilities to generate, validate, transform, enrich, and manage content within security and privacy standards, ensure reliability and maintainability through monitoring and troubleshooting, contribute standards and reusable components, mentor teammates, and drive cross-functional collaboration to advance automation maturity and AI-assisted documentation workflows. This role requires strong Python proficiency, experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD, familiarity with Jira/Linear, and a demonstrated ability to design and operate automation pipelines and to integrate LLMs via APIs. The position embraces a distributed, work-from-anywhere culture with an emphasis on collaboration across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, software engineering, or systems integration, preferably supporting developer platforms, documentation, localization, or content operations
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with Git-based workflows such as GitHub (pull requests, code reviews, repository automation)
- Experience with work-tracking/planning tools (Jira, Linear, or similar)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Proven ability to design and operate production automation using Python and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation pipelines using Git-based CI/CD systems
- Demonstrated experience integrating LLMs via APIs to automate documentation and language operations
- Experience designing or operating multi-agent or tool-orchestrated AI workflows at scale (preferred)
- Experience owning or evolving shared automation frameworks used across multiple products or teams (preferred)
- Familiarity with observability, metrics, and cost tracking for AI-driven automation systems (preferred)
- Experience containerizing, deploying, or operating long-running automation or agent services in production environments (preferred)
