Job Summary

Senior AI Architect responsible for designing end-to-end AI systems for customer experience use cases and presales activities. Architect reliable, production-ready AI solutions combining LLMs, deterministic workflows, tools, and orchestration layers; define interactions across self-service, agent copilot, journey management, and back-office automation; optimize retrieval-augmented generation and grounding AI responses in enterprise data. Develop scalable knowledge/embedding strategies, context management, and prompt structures to maximize relevance while managing token limits. Partner with customers to align AI outputs with trusted knowledge sources, balance performance, latency, governance, and data access. Establish AI evaluation frameworks and success metrics, create test sets and evaluation methodologies, and translate AI outcomes into business value to support customer decision-making and adoption. Engineer contextual AI experiences leveraging real-time data and conversation state, ensuring coherence and personalization across channels. Design for scalability, latency, and cost efficiency in enterprise environments, and provide technical feedback to Product Management. Support pre-sales activities including technical discovery, product demonstrations, sandbox/trial engagements, and AI integration guidance. Build reusable technical assets and enable Solution Consultants, partners, and account teams through workshops and scalable content. Leverage Genesys AI capabilities to articulate product value to customers and executives. This role requires a blend of deep AI technical knowledge, sales-oriented communication, and the ability to translate capabilities into business impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience designing modern AI solutions for customer experience orchestration and contact center use cases
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML, NLU/NLP, retrieval-based systems, and orchestration patterns
  • Experience in enterprise integration (RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures) and real-time design
  • Ability to define AI evaluation strategies, governance, and observability
  • Strong executive communication and ability to translate technical concepts into business value
  • Proven ability to create reusable technical assets, prototypes, and enablement content
  • Demonstrated success partnering with sales teams in a technical solutioning capacity
