Senior Agentic Search Infrastructure Engineer - Moveworks

Build and own the infrastructural substrate beneath an agentic search platform, spanning the index engine, ingestion and enrichment pipeline, and the entity, identity, and feature intelligence that contextualizes content. Design and operate hybrid/scale-out indexing across keyword-based and embedding-based indices, manage the full index lifecycle, and provide unified contracts for search primitives and recipes. Develop high-throughput ingestion/enrichment pipelines for multi-representation, permission-aware corpora, including parsing, chunking, embedding, entity resolution, and access control. Enable multi-modal indexing (text, tables, diagrams, images, audio, video) and contribute to a knowledge graph linking resources such as tickets, files, and people. Improve performance, scalability, and observability of search (latency, throughput, cluster health) using techniques like vector quantization. Own search infrastructure end to end from intake to rollout, and collaborate on-site with diverse engineering teams to deliver production-grade agentic search capabilities. Qualifications emphasize a BS/MS (PhD a plus) in CS or equivalent, 2+ years of full-time experience, and hands-on experience with major search technologies; an emphasis on in-person collaboration and building scalable, reliable infrastructure.
