Job Summary
Drive the transition to AI-first engineering workflows by implementing agentic practices across planning, development, testing, deployment, and operations. Establish optimized engineering standards using Claude Code and Cursor while building internal agents to boost productivity. Design and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and cloud services for Lumio's smart TV and home entertainment ecosystem, ensuring AI-assisted code meets reliability and security standards. Mentor engineers in adopting AI-assisted development and collaborate on AI strategy. Requires 4–7 years of backend experience in Go and Python, with deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, and distributed systems. Located in Bengaluru with on-site work mode.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of backend engineering experience in production environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and Python
- Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, distributed systems, databases, caching, queues, and observability
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and GCP
- Deep hands-on experience with Claude Code and Cursor in real-world software development
- Experience using AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and deployment
- Strong understanding of LLMs, model APIs, function calling, tool use, RAG, evals, and AI workflow orchestration
- Ability to build production-grade AI-enabled applications and services
- Strong product thinking and ability to connect AI capabilities with user outcomes
- Experience driving engineering best practices and influencing technical teams
- High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
