Job Summary
Implement and enforce Air Force cybersecurity policies, procedures, and countermeasures while maintaining situational awareness to improve or restore the assigned IT's security posture. Complete required certifications, manage user access controls, and ensure hardware/software compliance with security configuration guidelines. Coordinate changes with system-level ISSM and wing cybersecurity offices, initiating protective measures and reporting incidents per AFI 17-203. Initiate exceptions or waivers to cybersecurity requirements as needed. Maintain authorized user access documentation and ensure all personnel hold requisite clearances and complete annual training. May travel up to 10%. Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and minimum 10 years of secure IT experience.
Required Qualifications

- Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Minimum of 10 years planning, designing, developing, integrating, testing and/or deploying secure information technology
- Sec+
- Experience working with DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) space system acquisition programs
- Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD / IC cybersecurity requirements, policies and best practices
- Experience with IT Security including requirements, architecture and design
- Must be located in Colorado Springs, CO
- Must be available for travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field
- Redhat/Linux experience
