Job Summary
Senior Advisor Workforce at MBIE, Wellington (12-month fixed-term). Leads and contributes to documenting, evaluating, and optimizing current and future state processes, translating insights into actionable recommendations for operating model and service design. Supports programme delivery, planning, and reporting within a multidisciplinary team; builds trusted relationships to influence outcomes and inform robust decisions on future services. Requires significant experience in business process analysis in complex operational environments and strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills; applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience analysing and improving business processes within complex operational environments
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to assess impacts and support evidence-based decision-making
- Ability to build trusted relationships and apply a cross-organisational view of expertise to influence outcomes and support delivery of future services
- Experience translating insights into clear, practical recommendations
- Collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to cross-organisational thinking and outcomes
- Experience supporting programme delivery, including planning and reporting
- New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
