Job Summary
Develop and continuously improve Westgold's enterprise risk management framework while facilitating risk assessments and workshops across operational and corporate functions. Monitor material and emerging risks, coordinate integrated assurance activities, and develop key risk indicators to support informed decision-making. Provide practical risk advice to stakeholders and support executive and board reporting requirements. Build organizational capability through coaching, training, and stakeholder engagement with internal teams, regulators, and external assurance providers. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance risk and assurance performance across the business.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Business, Commerce, Engineering, Safety or a related discipline
- Significant experience in risk management, assurance, governance or critical risk management
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, assurance methodologies and governance principles
- Experience facilitating risk workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- The ability to influence outcomes and provide practical, commercially focused advice
- Experience within mining, resources or another complex and highly regulated industry
- Strong capability in reporting, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement
- Valid Australian national police clearance
- Australian driver's licence (or be able to obtain)
