Job Summary
Develop and implement Community and Social Performance Plans and activities for APA's infrastructure projects. Lead inclusive, culturally appropriate community engagement across diverse projects from concept through construction. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including First Nations communities, while identifying and managing social performance risks and opportunities. Provide specialist advice to project teams on balancing delivery, social value, and community expectations. Requires extensive experience in the infrastructure, mining, or resources sector, knowledge of regulatory approvals for energy infrastructure, and ability to travel with a valid driver's licence. Role closes Saturday, 5 September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of regulatory approvals processes for energy infrastructure development projects
- Knowledge of community and social performance requirements
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing community engagement programs
- Experience working respectfully and in a cultural appropriate way with First Nations communities and organisations
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate with both diverse internal and external stakeholders including community, government, business and economic development groups
- Effective communication, listening, and presentation skills
- The ability and willingness to travel
- A valid Driver's licence
