Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct audits of North American plant maintenance departments for PM accuracy, content, spare parts, and manpower. Aids the AME team and plant teams in creating new PM tasks and schedules for existing equipment. Performs day-to-day plant technical support related to EAM software, optimizing PMs to improve labor hours. Monitor weekly maintenance KPIs for all plants in NA and troubleshoot software problems with IT. Transfer and scrap equipment in the software as needed while cross-training to support equipment and spare parts crib inventory software. Lead or aid in the install and launch of new programs and equipment, providing plant recovery support during critical downtime events.
Required Qualifications
- Lives in MX within 1 hours drive of any YF interiors plant
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces
- 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience using EAM
- 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Automotive Equipment & Facilities Maintenance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Teams
- English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time
- Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels
- Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote)
- Required Education Level High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Area of Study: Mechanical and or Electrical
- Must be certified on EHS Management Systems (e.g. EMS, OHSMS)
- Technicians/Operators of High-Risk Equipment must be certified before operating (forklift, overhead crane, etc)
- Technicians/Operators of High-Risk Activity (Electrician, Welding, etc.) must be certified to meet specific EHS Qualifications including legal requirements
- People Leaders/Managers and above, Quality Professionals and Quality personnel must be certified
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of procedures needed to maintain automotive production and facilities equipment used in the successful operation of an automotive plant
- Understanding of Injection Moulding Machines and auxiliary equipment
- Understanding of Assembly Equipment used to assemble our products
- Hands on maintenance experience with automotive equipment
- Equipment project management cradle to grave
- Thorough understanding of Hexagon EAM 12.0 Software
- Spanish Level 3
