Job Summary
Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer responsible for R&D of Formlabs' manufacturing processes, collaborating with mechanical design, electrical, and materials teams to design new assembly processes, layouts, and to develop and deploy custom tooling and calibration equipment. Responsibilities include improving existing manufacturing lines, establishing checks to catch failures earlier, designing and analyzing production lines with measurable metrics, and coordinating with contract manufacturers to improve output. Requires 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, experience with overseas contract manufacturers or suppliers, and a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and delivering timely, budget-conscious electro-mechanical products to market. Required Qualifications
