Job Summary
Lead full product development cycles from concept through production by creating engineering models, drawings, and specifications. Drive design architecture decisions, oversee cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality, and sourcing, and establish project scope and timelines. Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies while mentoring emerging engineers through design reviews and best practices. Apply advanced FEA, structural design, and DFM expertise to deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions that meet customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- ~5-10 years of engineering experience in product development, manufacturing, or a related environment
- Proven ability to lead projects and deliver results
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills
- Advanced proficiency in FEA, structural design, and material selection
- Deep understanding of DFM, fabrication, and welding processes
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and fuel systems… and the applicable regulations
- Ability to independently manage assigned engineering projects and priorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Expertise in CAD(Creo) modeling and engineering documentation
