Job Summary
Senior Field Liability Claims Adjuster (Hybrid) based in Edmonton or Calgary. Core duties include prompt contact with policyholders and claimants, investigating causes, reporting with recommendations, scoping damages, identifying exposures, establishing reserves, and negotiating fair settlements. Utilize tech tools (e.g., Docusketch) to support the claims process, provide high levels of client service, and participate in after-hours support as needed. Requires strong knowledge of liability claims, risk assessment, numerical analysis, and effective communication; opportunities for career growth within a national network of claims professionals.
Required Qualifications
- High school completion
- University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance preferred
- Level 1 adjuster license in Alberta
- CIP designation pursuit
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive)
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- 7+ years experience in claims adjusting
