Job Summary
Lead and perform actuarial valuations for employee benefits under IAS19 and ASC 715, while supporting audit teams with technical expertise on pension obligations and IORP provisions. Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders on employee benefits and pensions matters, collaborating across PwC teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions. Manage project planning, timelines, and budgets to ensure high-quality and timely delivery, while coaching and mentoring colleagues to foster learning and team growth. Contribute to the development of new services and innovation within the actuarial practice. Join a multidisciplinary team of 65 specialists in the Financial Services practice to support leading organizations on complex governance topics.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified actuary
- at least 8 years of experience in employee benefits and actuarial consulting
- Strong knowledge of IAS19 / ASC 715
- Strong knowledge of Belgian pension legislation (IORP)
- Proven experience in managing projects and taking ownership from planning to delivery
- Ability to coach, develop and empower team members
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex actuarial topics into clear, practical insights for non-specialists
- A critical and analytical mindset
- A structured approach to problem-solving
- Fluent in English
