Job Summary
Senior Actuarial Analyst responsible for providing professional actuarial support for defined benefit pension plans. Performs actuarial and administrative duties including data compilation for experience analyses, preparation of related reports, and execution of recurring and ad hoc actuarial tasks under supervision. May lead simple mandates, collaborates on special projects, identifies weaknesses, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Strong Excel (VB/Access assets) and bilingual (French/English) skills are required; role involves working in a small team to deliver accurate calculations, analyses, and reports that support defined benefit plan administration.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Actuarial studies, Mathematics or related fields
- Work experience in defined benefit plan administration/consultation is a strong asset
- Knowledge of defined benefit plan design
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access an asset
- Knowledge of Visual Basic an asset
- Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
