Job Summary
Senior Actuarial Analyst - Reserving role focusing on Lloyd’s, UK GAAP, Solvency II and US Trust Fund reserving; support quarterly reserving documentation, engage with underwriting/claims/finance, assist in process enhancements, and contribute to regulatory reporting. Requires a minimum of 2 years’ reserving experience, a second-class degree in a mathematical/science subject, strong IT skills (MS Office, SQL), and excellent analytical, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. Study support offered for actuarial exams; role located in London with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a second-class degree in a mathematical or science-based subject
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience of reserving, ideally within a London Market environment
- Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Office and SQL
- Strong analytical, technical and presentational skills to enable the results of Actuarial analyses to be communicated to a non-actuarial audience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving skills and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
