Job Summary
Senior Actuarial Analyst is responsible for providing complex actuarial and pricing analyses, building and maintaining financial and actuarial models, leading data analyses and projections, performing ad hoc data mining, collaborating with underwriters and senior leaders on pricing initiatives and RFPs, presenting results to stakeholders, and mentoring actuarial team members while ensuring adherence to actuarial standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance
- 5 years actuarial work experience including 3 years in a healthcare organization or PBM
- Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; intermediate proficiency in SAS, SQL, or VBA
- Excellent quantitative, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Preferred: 5 years of actuarial work in healthcare/PBM; experience pricing Commercial, Medicare or Medicaid; experience SAS/SQL/VBA; model development
