Job Summary
The Senior Acquisition SME will work as part of a larger Program team to provide direct support to Contracting Officer Representatives and oversee various procurement processes. This position requires extensive experience in government acquisitions and a strong background in DHS/CBP operations.
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA degree with 15 years’ Government Acquisition experience or an MS degree with 10 years’ Government Acquisition experience
- Active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs and Border Protection Public Trust clearance
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Self-starter capable of supporting senior Government personnel independently, with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DHS/CBP Budgeting and Acquisition process
- Teamwork with outside agency project leaders
Additional Requirements
- Must have active DHS/CBP Public Trust clearance
