Job Summary
Join a rapidly growing acoustics team working on diverse projects including data centers, sports venues, healthcare, and education. This role requires 8+ years of experience in acoustics design and a bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM fields. Responsibilities include conducting environmental acoustics assessments, preparing acoustics reports, and serving as Project Manager. Candidates should have skills in SoundPlan modelling, ability to mentor team members, and excellent communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in acoustics design and measurements for the built environment
- Experience in environmental and architectural acoustics, field measurement, and on-site construction observation
- The ability to conduct drawing reviews and perform calculations related to sound isolation, noise control and room acoustics
- Prepare schedules and specifications, and interact with clients and design team members on a daily basis
- Mentor other acoustics team members
Desired Qualifications
- Skills and experience in computer modelling (SoundPlan)
- The ability to design and prepare acoustics reports
- The ability to serve as Project Manager/Lead Acoustics Consultant
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- A desire to work on multi-discipline projects with talented design teams
