Senior ACH Payment Specialist

Job Summary
Senior ACH Payment Specialist responsible for processing ACH transactions and ensuring efficient, secure operations. Applies to daily tasks including Dispute Resolutions, Death Notification Entries (DNEs), Reclamations, Stop Payments, Federal Reserve adjustments, and ACH balancing and rejects, while supporting Retail Branches and collaborating with other departments to optimize ACH operations. Develops and updates procedures, assists with research/testing/monitoring of ACH, supports bank core conversions, and prepares monthly ACH Return Monitoring reports and Fed Balance Sheet data. Maintains compliance with Reg E and NACHA rules, monitors ACH-related risks, and participates in annual ACH training. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years banking experience, with Nacha certification recommended; strong analytical skills, detail orientation, teamwork, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel. The role is located in Stuart, FL or The Villages, FL and is full-time. The bank emphasizes regulatory, ethical standards and timely execution of responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 4+ years Banking experience or a combination of education and experience
- Nacha certification recommended
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining compliance and operational standards
- PC proficient, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Effective communication and collaboration capabilities
