Senior Accounts Payable Specialist - Inventory

Review and reconcile invoices for all inventory purchases, performing three-way matches against purchase orders and receiving records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies regarding inventory received, pricing, shortages, damages, and freight. Manage vendor return processes to ensure proper crediting and work with purchasing to verify correct pricing and recorded discounts. Prioritize invoices based on cash discount potential and payment terms while researching internal and external inquiries. Reconcile vendor statements, correct discrepancies, and maintain general ledger classifications for invoices and expense reports. Handle accounts payable correspondence and perform other duties supporting inventory maintenance. Requires a set schedule with flexibility during peak seasons.
