Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary
Oversee and execute the complete cycle of accounts payable processing, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, and posting. Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, ACH, and wire payments while resolving vendor inquiries. Reconcile monthly vendor statements and manage discrepancies. Assist in month-end closing by preparing AP reports and analyses. Ensure compliance with internal controls and support external auditors. Lead the AP process, handle complex transactions, and mentor junior staff. Apply SAP knowledge to improve AP processes and systems. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high accuracy in financial obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
- Excellent PC utilization and data entry skills; including experience with MS Office and advanced knowledge of Excel
