Job Summary
Senior Accounting Systems & Financial Operations Leader responsible for designing and executing scalable accounting processes, building internal audit capabilities, and ensuring data integrity and audit-readiness across the organization. Leads a high-performing accounting team, translates complex financial and system concepts into actionable insights for leadership, and ensures alignment between contractual obligations and accounting treatment while overseeing tax-related processes (including EFTPS, 1099s and related filings). Focuses on system integrity, high-stakes decision support, and scalable infrastructure to enable growth and accurate, timely financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- CPA license or certification required
- Senior leadership experience in accounting/finance operations
- Experience designing and implementing scalable accounting systems and internal controls
- Strong internal audit/building systems proficiency
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and tax processes (EFTPS, 1099s)
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights
- Leadership and team development abilities
- Attention to detail with big-picture focus
