Job Summary
Senior Accounting Specialist to manage the full financial picture across personal, investment, real estate, and business entity accounts. This remote full-time role involves day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, monthly financial reporting, variance explanations, budget tracking, investment portfolio accounting, real estate accounting for two residential properties, intercompany activity, and AI-assisted workflows to automate categorization and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Expert-level QuickBooks Online proficiency
- Experience managing books for multiple LLCs or pass-through entities
- Investment and real estate accounting experience a plus
- Proven use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to improve accuracy
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- CPA, CMA, or bookkeeping certification a plus but not required
