Job Summary
Senior Accounting Manager leads technical accounting and policy governance, overseeing financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Serves as enterprise SME on complex accounting issues (revenue recognition, lease accounting, goodwill, M&A, divestitures, equity compensation), reviews significant contracts for proper accounting, and oversees corporate accounting policies. Acts as primary liaison with external auditors for close, consolidation, and technical accounting matters; drives internal controls scoping, evaluation, and SOX compliance; leads finance transformation initiatives within close and consolidation processes; champions data quality, scalable processes, and a culture of accountability and collaboration. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, 5 years of accounting experience, and 3 years of management experience. Compensation ranges from $135,000 to $170,000 annually, with potential commission or incentive plan; comprehensive benefits package described.
