Job Summary
Oversee core accounting operations, including month-end close, project accounting, payroll support, and proposal preparation. Prepare and post journal entries, approve vouchers, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and manage fixed asset capitalization. Reconcile timesheets, configure projects in Costpoint, calculate indirect rates, and generate monthly trial balances. Lead financial reporting to senior leadership, analyze performance trends, and support DCAA compliance and external audits. Mentor accounting staff and serve as a financial partner to operational leaders, program management, and supply chain teams. This role requires U.S. citizenship, ten years of accounting experience, and fluency in English and Korean. Hanwha Defense USA offers a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen or with no restrictions on working for a federal contractor
- Excellent management and supervisory skills in manufacturing industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Deltek Costpoint or SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Bilingual English/Korean required
- Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Masters Degree preferred
- Ten or more years of professional accounting experience preferred
- Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
- Experience in government contracting or project-based accounting preferred
- Experience preparing indirect rate structures and cost pool preferred
