Job Summary
The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. Responsibilities include managing month-end and year-end close activities, supervising accounting staff, leading annual audits, and collaborating with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, and advanced analytical skills. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification, and at least 8 years of relevant experience with a track record of leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Minimum 3 years in a management or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in medium or large-sized companies
- Prior public accounting firm experience
- Experience with Cognos, Tableau, or Alteryx
