Job Summary
Senior Accounting Manager to lead APAC accounting function (Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand) overseeing end-to-end accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance, with responsibility for intercompany transactions, consolidation, asset management, treasury, and regional payroll oversight. Leads a team of up to 5 accounting staff, drives process improvements, and partners with regional tax and auditors. Requires Chief Accountant Certificate and a Bachelor’s degree, deep knowledge of VAS and tax regulations, experience with regional/multi-entity accounting, and SAP proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Chief Accountant Certificate (Chứng chỉ Kế toán trưởng) — mandatory requirement under Vietnamese law
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
- Deep technical knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and Labour Law
- Proven track record of managing in-house payroll independently
- Experience with regional or multi-entity accounting across APAC
- Proficiency in accounting ERP software (SAP experience preferred)
- Strong command of written and spoken English for regional reporting and stakeholder communication
