Senior Accounting & Finance Specialist

Job Summary
Independently manage the company's accounting functions, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and create management reports and financial analyses. Monitor revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and cash flow while ensuring the accuracy of all accounting and financial data. Reconcile data across invoicing tools, banking platforms, ERP systems, and internal spreadsheets to support tax, audit, and regulatory requirements. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and planning by analyzing variances between actual results and planned performance. Collaborate with management, sales, operations, external consultants, banks, and tax advisors to optimize financial processes and implement improved controls and automated reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in accounting, finance, or controlling
- Experience in preparing financial reports and management analyses
- Good knowledge of Croatian accounting and tax regulations
- Full proficiency in the Croatian and English languages
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work with large volumes of data, and experience with report automation or data transfer between systems is considered an advantage
- Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, accounting software, CRM systems, payroll systems, or invoicing tools is considered an advantage
- Experience in technology, consulting, SaaS, project-based, or fast-growing companies is considered an advantage
