Job Summary
Senior Accounting Coordinator role focusing on full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, reconciliations, month-end procedures, reporting, and audit support. The position involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor, physician, and consultant invoices; managing AR/AP aging and collections; performing reconciliations and preparing backup for monthly audits; driving process improvements through automation and validation controls; generating financial reports; collaborating with vendors, clients, and internal teams; coordinating inter-company transactions; resolving billing/payable disputes per policy; and overseeing accounting clerks. Requires post-secondary education in finance/accounting (or related field) and at least three years of accounting experience; proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains, DocLink) and MS Office tools; strong communication and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum of three years’ experience in accounting and/or AP/AR roles
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Great Plains, DocLink)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and the Internet
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
- Must promote a team-oriented environment
