Job Summary
Senior Accounting Analyst responsible for month- and quarter-end close under GAAP, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements; ensure timely reporting of monthly results; manage own workflow; assist with internal/external reporting packages, accounts payable/receivable processing, credit card reconciliations, audit preparation, and state filings; support payroll as needed; requires Bachelor’s in Accounting and 5+ years’ experience; proficient in QuickBooks and Excel; CPA and public accounting background are advantages.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum 5 years of related accounting experience
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Big plusses: Prior experience in public accounting, CPA
