Job Summary
Prepare standard monthly journal entries consistent with GAAP requirements and perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, including analysis for accuracy and timely resolution of issues. Execute supplemental reporting and analytics to drive efficiency improvements, while assisting in the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain policy and procedure documentation and identify automation opportunities to streamline accounting functions. This role requires a keen analytical mindset to support operational efficiency within the Acute Care Technology division of ZOLL Medical Corporation, which develops lifesaving medical devices and software solutions globally.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, procedures, and software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with many types of confidential data with discretion and professionalism
