Job Summary
Lead core accounting functions by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting monthly and year-end close processes. Own the general ledger, perform advanced accounting analysis, and review and approve work prepared by accounting staff. Drive process improvements, support management reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Manage reconciliations, transactional accounting processes, and customer programs with a high degree of independence. Requires 5–7+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree, and CPA or CPA-track preference. Located in the Office Products Industry with less than 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Advanced Excel Skills
- ERP system experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5–7+ years accounting experience
- Working knowledge of Windows based operating system
- Ability to communicate and motivate clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts via in-person meetings, telephone, and written communication
- People management and ability to make effective business decisions in the best interest of the Company
- Strong Analytical skills
- Strong Presentation skills
- Ability to travel less than 10%
