Senior Accountant - Workday Financial Reporting

Job Summary
Lead revenue accounting activities including contract review, revenue recognition analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close entries in accordance with US GAAP and company policy. Review client engagements and billing arrangements to ensure accurate recording of revenue, while preparing and analyzing account reconciliations for deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and intercompany balances. Support quarterly and annual financial statement audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and coordinating documentation for revenue-related and international accounting matters across multiple jurisdictions. Identify and improve internal controls related to revenue recognition and close activities, and collaborate cross-functionally with legal, operations, and FP&A teams to resolve accounting issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong exposure to revenue accounting
- Experience supporting external audits
- Experience preparing audit-ready schedules and documentation
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with revenue recognition principles
- Experience with financial reporting controls
- Experience supporting international accounting operations
- Experience with statutory audits
- Experience with multicurrency environments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with reporting tools
