Job Summary
Senior Accountant responsible for evaluating business transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment, preparing reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. Collaborates across departments to maintain accuracy and transparency in financial reporting. Requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical ability, and effective partnership with finance colleagues and business teams. Responsibilities include GAAP-compliant journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly/quarterly financial statements, variance analysis, cross-functional collaboration, assisting with annual audits, ad-hoc reporting, and strengthening internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or corporate accounting)
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (Infor M3 is a plus)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and across levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Background check and drug testing required
