Job Summary
Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable (student accounts) while overseeing processes and reporting for grants and internal accounting functions. Provide comprehensive accounting and financial services across the full lifecycle of sponsored awards, from pre-award budget development through final financial reporting and audit closeout. Oversee fixed assets including the library and fine art collections, maintaining the asset database and preparing monthly journal entries and annual reporting. Monitor interdepartmental transactions, reconcile restricted fund accounting, and assist principal investigators with grant principles and budgeting. Perform risk analysis, prepare journal entries, reallocate transactions, and coordinate with auditors to resolve findings. Ensure fiscal compliance with Federal Uniform Guidance and internal policies while supporting the Director of Sponsored Projects and Associate Provost for Research.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of four years related experience
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet and database skills
- High level of analytical and critical thinking skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Federal Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200)
