Job Summary
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities including journal entries, general ledger review, reconciliations, and accruals to prepare management reporting and corporate consolidation inputs. Support India GAAP and US GAAP statutory compliance, tax returns, and audit deliverables by maintaining scalable, audit-ready controls and documentation. Partner with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and global finance teams on compliance reviews and process standardization to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. Work closely with local business teams and global finance stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related field
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong working knowledge of India GAAP, US GAAP, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit requirements
- Experience with ERP/reporting systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong English communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- CA, Cost Accountant, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a multinational, manufacturing, industrial, water, infrastructure, or technical product/service environment
- SAP, Infor LN/Baan, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, or similar tools
- Occasional travel for business needs, audits, or meetings
